Hello everyone! Lot’s of stuff happened this week, so here you go:
Tuesday we had service lady that we had met a few weeks ago and it was so much fun! We cleaned her house and watered her plants. Sister Harmon kept spraying me with the hose so I pushed her into the pool… hahaha, just kidding! I almost did though, but I resisted the temptation 😉
We then had dinner at a member’s house with our investigator and ate Cuban food, by the way, Cuban food is delicious! And we had inspections for our apartment, we got a 10!
Wednesday we had exchanges, and it was so much fun!
Thursday we got a new investigator through street contacting and he is super awesome and excited to learn more!
Friday we found a part member family though tracting and they want to come back to church again, it was so awesome!
Saturday we did service of “Filling the Trailer” with the whole zone, it was so much fun! So much stuff was donated to the homeless shelter 🙂 Then after that we went to go visit the part member family and met another member, Veronica who is almost 9 and hasn’t been baptized. She’s eager to learn more and we set her with a date for baptism! She is a dancer and is super good, I told her about my dancing sister and loved hearing about a fellow dance-aholic! That night we went to the Ward Chili cook off where they made us judges for all the chilis and cobblers. I LOVE chili. And the cobbler winner was the only one who cooked his in a dutch oven, I keep telling everyone out here that that is the one way ticket to a cobbler success! No one believes me of course, their loss!
On Sunday, Veronica and her family came to church, and they loved it! They plan on coming next week, so exciting! Can’t wait! The spirit was truly felt at Church 🙂
Anyway that is all for now, folks!
