This week has been very hot. It’s been in the high 90’s and low 100’s. Which normally isn’t too bad and doesn’t bother us too much, but lately it has been horrendous to say the least. I wonder if it’s because the Lancaster wind has suddenly decided to take a vacation… the world may never know at this point. But we are still here, still alive, and still kicking it!
It’s been a hard week of knocking doors with no good responses, but at the same time we have also learning a lot better on how to do the new door approach that President Layton has asked us to do.
So yeah nothing super major. We did get a new investigator who was soon dropped. He told to us to come back Thursday night at 7, which of course we did. Only to our lack of knowledge we did not know that he wanted us to come the same night and time that his 7 Day Adventist pastor comes to his house to preach a sermon. So we got to hear a sermon on worship music and people that were in the bible… it was… pretty…. interesting? But they gave us ice cream after so it wasn’t a total loss!!
We also met some pretty interesting people on Friday night. Lancaster is a city full of hilarious people! So that made our night pretty funny.
And we did get to meet some less active part member families that want to get back to church, and the nonmembers are interested in learning 🙂
So pretty hard, but good week!
